Kellogg Considering Bid for United Biscuits -Sky News

Cereal maker Kellogg Co. (K) is considering an offer for the
U.K.'s United Biscuits Ltd., a maker of snacks and cookies, Sky
News reported Wednesday.
Kellogg has selected Barclays PLC (BCS) to work on a possible
offer for United Biscuits, owned by private-equity firms Blackstone
Group LP (BX) and PAI Partners.
Last month The Wall Street Journal reported that United Biscuits
is weighing an initial public offering.
