Boeing Engineering Chief Greg Hyslop to Retire

Greg Hyslop, the Boeing Co. chief engineer who joined McDonnell
Douglas Astronautics Co. in 1982, will retire in June.
Howard McKenzie, the top engineer at Boeing's commercial
airplanes unit, succeeds Mr. Hyslop as chief engineer and will be
executive vice president, Engineering, Test & Technology.
Effective Wednesday, Mr. McKenzie takes over leadership of the
company's 57,000 engineers worldwide, Boeing said.
Mr. Hyslop will support the leadership transition through June
as chief engineer emeritus, working on program management,
leadership development and university relations efforts.
