Abbott Laboratories Appoints Funck as Finance Chief; Yoor to Retire

Abbott Laboratories (ABT) said Finance Chief Brian B. Yoor will
retire, effective Feb. 29.
Succeeding Mr. Yoor as finance chief and executive vice
president of finance will be Robert E. Funck Jr., effective March
1, the company said Wednesday.
Mr. Funck has served as the company's senior vice president of
finance and controller since 2018 and worked various officer roles
since 2005. He joined Abbott in 1987.
Mr. Yoor joined the company in 1997 and became finance chief in
2015.
The Abbott Park, Ill., company makes heart devices, Similac baby
formula and diagnostic tests.
