Sachs will join the company as vice president, treasurer and chief tax officer, effective Dec. 1. He will be responsible for all activities related to treasury, tax and mergers and acquisitions, reporting to William G. Quigley, executive vice president and chief financial officer. Sachs succeeds Brian Casey, who is leaving Visteon to pursue other career opportunities. Since August 2005 he has been a senior member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in New York, advising on and executing transactions mainly for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. Before that, he spent nearly six years in investment banking with J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. Sachs earned a juris doctor from New York University School of Law, and a bachelor's degree in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
