Assicurazioni Generali SpA (G.MI) said Tuesday it approved a new
organizational structure in Italy, aimed at strengthening the
development of its corporate business.
The new structure, effective Sept. 1, is aimed at helping the
Italian insurer meet the challenges of its Strategy 2021 program,
Generali said.
It will better integrate the Generali Country Italy operation
and Generali's insurance-offering platform Global Business Lines.
The new structure will also include the creation of a strategy and
business-development function for its corporate segment.
"We want to be faster in the implementation of the Strategy
2021...by boosting the development of our corporate business, which
might also come through international business agreements," said
Mr. Sesana, country manager and chief executive of Generali Italia
and Global Business Lines.
