Crocodile Gold Announces 4th Quarter Production of 22,300 Ounces Despite One of the Wettest Quarters on Record-2010 Production o

Crocodile Gold Announces 4th Quarter Production of 22,300 Ounces Despite One of the Wettest Quarters on Record-2010 Production o

Crocodile Gold Corp. (TSX: CRK)(OTCQX: CROCF)(FRANKFURT: XGC) ("Crocodile Gold" or the "Company") announces fourth quarter production of 22,351 ounces and 2010 annual production of 81,793 ounces.

Highlights include:

-- 518,475 tonnes at a grade of 1.49 grams/tonne gold were milled in the
fourth quarter of 2010 to produce 22,351 ounces at a recovery of 91.4%.
Of note, ore milled in October was 196,000 tonnes before the wet season
began to impact mill throughput.

-- Gold poured during the fourth quarter of 2010 of 23,300 ounces despite
the Northern Territory of Australia experiencing one of its wettest
quarters on record.

-- During 2010, a total of 1,856,180 tonnes at a grade of 1.55 grams/tonne
gold were milled to produce 81,793 ounces for an overall recovery of
88.4%. Higher than normal monsoonal rains in December negatively
affected both mine production and mill throughput. There were 8 days of
lost production in December at Howley as higher grade ore at the bottom
of the pit was inaccessible reducing production by approximately 2,000
ounces in the last half of December. In addition, 40,000 fewer tonnes
were milled in December due to rainfall related production issues.

-- The Company focused on selectively mining higher grade areas to offset
production difficulties caused by abnormally high rainfall. The current
long term weather outlook for the monsoonal season which typically ends
in March indicates that there will be further above average rainfall in
the first quarter of 2011.

-- Production during the fourth quarter of 2010 came from the Brocks Creek
underground mine and the Howley, North Point and Princess Louise open

-- Crocodile Gold continued to work with the various government agencies to
finalize permits for mining the International open pit in the Pine Creek
North area.

-- Crocodile Gold is ready to begin dewatering the Cosmo open pit upon
approval of final discharge permits expected shortly.

-- During the fourth quarter of 2010, total underground development at
Cosmo was 140 metres. The focus was on developing and installing the
required underground infrastructure including electrical and water
reticulation. Total underground development in 2010 was 562 metres.

-- The Cosmo mine development and production contract was put out to tender
and the Company received a number of very competitive bids including a
significant cost savings for the next two years. Awarding of this tender
is anticipated to occur early in the first quarter of 2011.

-- Crocodile Gold expects to provide production guidance for 2011 shortly.

-- Crocodile Gold expects to provide an update on the reserves and
resources in mid-February.

In releasing this information, Mike Hoffman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Crocodile Gold, commented, "Our fourth quarter results continue to reflect the steady progress we are making at our operation since we began commercial production on June 1, 2010. Our priority remains bringing the Cosmo underground mine to production in mid-2011 and to develop new sources of production in the Union Reefs/Pine Creek area."

Crocodile Hunter highway - Steve Irwin gets road named after him Wed Sep 27, 12:49 AM ET

SYDNEY (AFP) - Iconic Australian crocodile wrangler Steve Irwin will be immortalised in tarmac when the road outside his family zoo is renamed in his honour, officials revealed.

The premier of northeastern Queensland state Peter Beattie announced that the road that runs past Irwin's Australia Zoo in the small town of Beerwah will be called Steve Irwin Way by the end of the year.

"Steve Irwin and his family have put Beerwah on the map and I can think of no more fitting tribute," Beattie said, dubbing the "Crocodile Hunter" "Queensland's most well-known ambassador ever".

"The declaration of Steve Irwin Way is the first step in helping to build a lasting memorial to Steve Irwin's work," he said.

Irwin's American-born widow Terri Irwin and their two children, Bindi, eight, and Bob, two, live at the zoo in Beerwah and were touched by the announcement, Beattie said.

The announcement came hours ahead of the first televised interview with Terri Irwin since her husband was killed in a freak stingray attack three weeks ago.

Terri Irwin's exclusive interview with Australia's Channel Nine television was set to be aired at 8:30 pm (1030 GMT), ahead of the US broadcast of her interview with American television doyenne Barbara Walters.

Thousands expected at Irwin's service By DENNIS PASSA, Associated Press Writer
Tue Sep 19, 6:22 PM ET

BEERWAH, Australia - More than 5,000 people, including the prime minister, are expected to cram the "Crocoseum" at the Australia Zoo on Wednesday to say farewell to "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin at a memorial service.

Flags on the Sydney Harbor Bridge were to fly at half-staff, and giant television screens were set up in Irwin's home state of Queensland for people to watch the service.

Irwin, 44, was killed Sept. 4 when the barb from a stingray pierced his chest while he was filming a TV show about the Great Barrier Reef. His family held a private funeral service Sept. 9.

His death set off an outpouring of grief. Tens of thousands of people traveled to the zoo near Brisbane to drop off flowers and other mementoes, many of them signing Irwin-styled khaki shirts instead of a condolence book.

There has been a surge of donations to the Irwin-instituted charity Wildlife Warriors, and millions of people have visited his Web site to find out more about Irwin and his conservation efforts.

Irwin's widow, American-born Terri Irwin, was expected to make her first public appearance since his death at Wednesday's memorial service. The couple's daughter, Bindi, 8, and son Bob, 2, were expected to accompany their mother.

Prime Minister John Howard also was expected to attend the service, and country singer John Williamson planned to sing "True Blue," a song that Irwin loved.

John Stainton, Irwin's manager and close friend, said the service would be a celebration of the naturalist's life.

"There will be one seat alongside of the family for Steve because he loved the Crocoseum, he built it," Stainton said. "And his Australia Zoo cap that he always wore watching all the shows with his daughter will be on the seat."

Stainton said there would be visual tributes to Irwin, with some "memorable film clips" and "funny moments" from his television career. Actor Russell Crowe reportly be among those paying tribute by video.

"The one thing I hope everyone will take away from it is what a diverse character he was," Stainton said.

Three of Australia's main television networks planned to carry the ceremony live and provide feeds to U.S. and international networks.

Actually the term Jew has only two meanings. It means one is either a resident of Judea and/or of the lineage of Judah. Those are the only definitions of the word biblically speaking.

The term Jewish is generic, I could have said Hebrew and been just as correct. My point was he problely ate a normal Jewish/Hebrew diet which included lamb, beef and Goat etc, etc.
Thank you for your reply and the best to you. TGFTB. :o)

Lamb? Where did you get that? He was the Lamb of God.
BTW, how do you like the 911 MEMORIAL board?

I suppose there's a link...

between animal husbandry, a myth, and obscure ancient diet taboos?

Jesus was half Jew and half Levi. The lineage of Mary and her cousin Elizabeth confirm that her lineage was half of the tribe of Judah (Jew) and Half of the tribe of Levi (Priest line) and both were of Jacob (Israel). Judah is but one of the twelve tribes.

Jesus was a Jew and most likely his diet was also Jewish. Your doing a good job with the 911 board. Thanks
