Wisconsin Electric Power (QB) Description

Wisconsin Electric Power Company, which does business under the trade name of We Energies, is a wholly owned subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, Inc.. Wisconsin Electric was incorporated in the state of Wisconsin in 1896. We maintain our principal executive offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and serve customers in Wisconsin. We conduct our business primarily through our utility segment: 1) we generate and distribute electric energy to approximately 1,152,400 customers located in southeastern Wisconsin (including the metropolitan Milwaukee area), east central Wisconsin, and northern Wisconsin; 2) we provide natural gas utility service to approximately 505,200 customers in three distinct service areas in Wisconsin, including west and south of the City of Milwaukee, the Appleton area, and areas within Iron and Vilas Counties; and 3) we have a steam utility that generates, distributes, and sells steam supplied by the Valley Power Plan (VAPP) to customers in metropolitan Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Steam is used by approximately 400 customers for processing, space heating, domestic hot water, and humidification.
