Kennett Square, PA -- December 12, 2017 -- InvestorsHub NewsWire
-- Good Gaming, Inc. (OTC PINK: GMER) (the “Company”) CEO David B.
Dorwart is pleased to provide his latest monthly corporate update
for the month of December 2017 through the issuance of a letter to
shareholders.
David B. Dorwart, CEO, stated as follows:
November 2017 proved to be a very busy month for Good Gaming as
we continue to make excellent progress towards our goal of building
both a scalable and profitable business model in the online esport
gaming industry.
As we have discussed, we are currently focused on three aspects
of the gaming sector:
1. Hosting and running a great, profitable Minecraft
division.
We will do this with our current server through organic growth
or through acquisitions which will provide scale to our revenue
numbers.
2. Being a great Tournament provider.
Our first step in this would be our LAN Center strategy. We want
to be involved with the LAN Community in some capacity, either by
being in Joint Ventures with LAN Center experts or by running our
tournaments within already established LAN Centers.
Either way, we believe the LAN Center business is an important
piece of the Gaming environment. It brings important human social
needs together with the virtual world of gaming.
3. Being a great content aggregator.
In esports, knowledge is power. Games are highly complex
involving significant player and team strategies. Understanding
game mechanics is essentially limitless and analyzing trends in
everything from map positioning, player roles, and team theory can
give an edge to a competitor.
The need for sourcing game data has never been greater. In the
past two years, Good Gaming has seen a slew of startups focused on
this emerging market. And, since viewers, players and games all
take place online, it only makes sense that the need for gathering
and capturing digital content will remain in its future as the
esports industry continues to show exponential growth.
Good Gaming is determined to become the “go-to” place where
gamers can learn what is currently happening in esports, the gaming
community and strategic play through game metrics, pro-player
performance, team performance and other meaningful stats.
By driving traffic to our site from players looking for
competitive advantages, we plan to exploit additional opportunities
that will derive multiple revenue streams to the company by fueling
the esport ecosystem with content.
Minecraft Division
November was a very busy month for us relative to the Minecraft
part of the business. As a reminder, it has always been our intent
for this part of the business to be a money maker for us. In
short, our immediate goals are to have our revenues exceeding our
expenses in this division.
I am happy to report that during this month we achieved that
goal by focusing on revenue enhancing products and special
promotions, while also keeping our expenses static month over
month.
A few highlights from November:
We introduced a new rank
(Supreme) and began accepting preorders.
Thanks to a very good Black
Friday weekend, our revenue from microtransactions was
up 48% over October and we have more than doubled our
September revenue.
Overall transactions
increased to more than 500 individual transactions.
November also brought
a new all-time high concurrent player count with 673
Minecraft players online at once.
I am proud of our Minecraft team for their speed and efficiency
in hitting their targets of revenue production and continual
increases of concurrent players on our Minecraft server. We have
implemented KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and internal
indicators in order to give our Minecraft team achievable goals to
hit each month, while also gauging whether we are heading in the
right direction. This is our way of focusing our Minecraft team on
important indicators that help to meet and achieve goals, so our
overall story and results turn out exactly the way we expect them
to.
Additionally, we are happy to report we have now completed all
redesigns and server changes and are now able to focus on growing
our player base which should relate to increased revenues. We also
plan on continuing to explore various opportunities which include
teaming with influencers as well as other servers in order to
create additional synergies. We have been working hard on our new
Battle Royale game mode (exclusive to Good Gaming), as well as
other unique holiday packages. We see the holidays as a perfect
time for our players to have the time to engage with us and
experience our new server highlights. Our team is highly motivated
and excited as they continue to bring new ideas to our Minecraft
business.
When it comes to looking for additional opportunities to scale
our Minecraft business by way of the acquisition of additional
successful servers, we are fully engaged in this strategy. We have
already identified several targets for acquisition and will be
pursuing these targets in the very near future. We believe by using
successful strategies we have implemented and demonstrated over the
last few months and applying them to additional servers, we will
have the unique opportunity to scale our overall Minecraft server
revenues more expeditiously than by growing only one server. This
strategy is repeatable for the foreseeable future and it’s our
intent to quickly take advantage by executing on this plan.
LAN Centers
Our LAN Center business division is probably to most scalable
business model we have and certainly the most ambitious. Building
out a community of LAN Centers is not an easy task simply because
there are no profitable workable models out there that we can
duplicate. Truth be told, if we could simply model an already
successful community of LAN Centers, we would. However, this
is not the case. We have identified that the esports industry is in
need of a community of local neighborhood centers that are tied
together in order to build a robust global community. This part of
the business is missing for a segment of esport players. We see an
opportunity to exploit this void and intend to build that part of
the business.
Because of this, we continue to explore and evaluate
opportunities in the LAN Center space. We have traveled and met
with several individuals who we feel are doing things correctly and
who would rather be a part of a bigger picture than to stand alone
with their own individual story. We hope to have partners
identified and to begin opening centers as soon as our first
quarter of 2018.
Tournaments and Leagues
Our Tournaments and Leagues strategy is ideally contingent upon
our ability to get involved in the LAN Center community. We feel
it’s easier to control the outcome of our message with the partners
involved in our vision of how a LAN Center gaming community should
be.
On the league side, we have added personnel and have begun to
scope the structure for our “in-person” leagues. We hope to have
our structure completed by the end of the year and plan to begin
executing the strategy by early next year.
In conclusion, we are feeling good and extremely optimistic with
our last 30 days of progress. Although our only real
financial progress came from our Minecraft division, our strategy
meetings have been rewarding with those we have spoken to, as it
relates to the other parts of our business, and the new model we
are in the process of implementing. I am confident we will
eventually partner with companies in this esports world that are
important to partner with. These companies will have the same
goals, same vision and same values that we have, which will
eventually bring shareholder value to our company and to all our
shareholders.
Until next month, game away!
