(TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB) and The Columbus (Ohio) Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) announced today the signing of a two-year contract renewal estimated at US$ 27 million to administer multi-family housing payments in the state of Ohio for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The contract renewal continues a relationship between CMHA and CGI that began in 2000. CGI is responsible for more than 25 percent of the housing portfolio across the U.S. administered under HUD's multi-family housing program. In addition to Ohio and Washington, D.C., CGI administers contracts in Northern California, and the states of Florida and New York. CGI is the largest HUD processor of its kind in the U.S and processes more than US$1.5 billion annually.
