J2 Global Inc.'s (JCOM) Everyday Health Group unit on Tuesday said it acquired digital pregnancy and parenting resource BabyCenter from Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) for an undisclosed amount.

Everyday Health said BabyCenter has a global reach of more than 100 million people monthly, adding that 70% of new and expectant mothers use its various digital platforms in the U.S.

Johnson & Johnson acquired BabyCenter from struggling Internet retailer EToys Inc. in 2001 for about $10 million.
