Holzer Holzer & Fistel, LLC announces that it is
investigating potential breaches of fiduciary duties by certain
officers and directors of Equinix, Inc. (“Equinix” or the
“Company”) (NASDAQ: EQIX). On March 4, 2011, an investor filed a
class action lawsuit in the Northern District of California
alleging that Equinix violated the federal securities laws between
July 29, 2010 and October 5, 2010 (the “Class Period”). The lawsuit
alleges, among other things, that Equinix unlawfully failed to
disclose problems the Company was having integrating the recently
acquired Switch & Data Corporation Facilities Company, while
simultaneously overstating demand for certain of its services.
According to the complaint, the failure to timely disclose these
problems rendered the Company’s Class Period statements about its
financial well being and future business prospects false and
misleading.
