SAN DIEGO, Sept. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TinyFrog
Technologies, a San Diego web
design agency, announced today that it has designed and developed a
new website for National University
Polytechnic Institute. NUPI is a vocational school and is part of
National University, which has 28
campuses in the states of California and Nevada. With four separate training locations
in San Diego, NUPI offers
comprehensive, affordable commercial diving courses as well as
underwater welding.
National University Polytechnic
Institute's team began its relationship with TinyFrog back in 2014,
when TinyFrog provided web design & development services to
transform their existing landing page into a full-scale
professional website. Since then, the NUPI website has been
critical in the non-profit organizations' growth and in solidifying
the school's position in their educational niche.
Last year, the NUPI team decided that it was time to redesign
their website with help from the TinyFrog team once again. The goal
of this latest redesign was to upgrade the site to modern design
styles, drive more qualified leads to the school programs and
improve metrics such as time spent on the website while reducing
bounce rates.
"We've been honored to work with NUPI for many years now and
we're looking forward to helping them continue to grow their
programs and marketing efforts with this website upgrade," said
Mikel Bruce, owner of TinyFrog
Technologies.
During the web strategy phase of the project, TinyFrog's web
strategist collaborated with the NUPI team to create a custom
wireframe for the website, outlining a more intuitive top
navigation and highlighting strong calls to action. An important
aspect of the new design was to create a separate look and feel for
the pages associated with the Emergency Medical Technicians program
and the Health Continuing Education program. Since the launch of
the initial site in 2010, the EMT program has been developed into
its own division and therefore, the presentation of the overall
programs needed to be restructured on the site.
TinyFrog provided an iterative, custom design process,
integrating National University's
branding into the modern site design. The new website is built on a
mobile-responsive WordPress framework, allowing NUPI to easily
manage the site content and WordPress features post-launch.
"I felt like I was their only customer. They gave me a lot of
close attention. I had good interactions with every one of the
players on their team," said William
Hyder, NUPI General Program Manager, after working with the
TinyFrog team.
The new website officially launched in July 2019 and TinyFrog will be continuing to work
with the National University
Polytechnic Institute, offering secured hosting and WordPress
maintenance for the site.
