SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Wells Fargo
Advantage Funds(SM) Investment Professionals Web site has been
named one of the Top 10 Intermediary Web Sites by kasina, LLC, a
leading management consulting firm to the financial services
industry. The Investment Professionals Web site,
http://www.wellsfargo.com/advantagefunds, received this designation
as part of kasina's recent white paper, "Top 10 Intermediary Web
Sites: Supporting the Advisor Sales Cycle." The rankings are based
on criteria such as branding, content, online services, usability,
and technology. Sites ranked in the Top 10 were considered the best
at meeting advisors' needs during the four stages of the Advisor
Sales Cycle, as defined in the white paper. In addition to the
ranking, the Investment Professionals site was highlighted for
providing Web-based solutions to financial advisors, including Fund
Filtering, Fund Comparison, and Hypothetical tools. "Feedback from
investment professionals and our sales teams is instrumental in
building a site that features world-class content," said Brian
Melter, Vice President of E-Business for Wells Fargo Funds
Management. "We are honored to be recognized in the first year of
our site's launch and are excited about continuing to work with
clients to develop and deliver enhanced capabilities in 2006." The
kasina study marks the third time in four months that the
Investment Professionals site has been recognized by an
independent, third-party organization. In October 2005, the Mutual
Fund Education Alliance (MFEA) honored the site with two of its
annual STAR Awards, including "Best Financial Advisor Home Page"
and "Best Financial Advisor Site." MFEA also gave two additional
STAR Awards to the Individual Investors Web site of
