Company has been notified that on 17 October 2002, Mrs A Purvis purchased 6,400
ordinary shares in the company, representing 0.02 per cent. of the issued share
capital, at a price of 103p per share.



Following this transaction, Mr J Purvis has a beneficial interest in 440,000
shares in the company, representing 1.5 per cent. of the issued share capital.
