Company has been notified that on 16 October 2002, Mr Gareth Cooper, the
Company's Chairman, purchased 5,000 ordinary shares representing 0.02 per cent.
of the issued capital, at a price of 103p per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Cooper has a beneficial interest in 15,000 shares
representing 0.05 per cent. of the issued share capital.
