Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting
SQS has today published a notice of and invitation to an extraordinary general
meeting ("EGM") to be held at the Company's offices at Sophienstrasse 5 in 51149
Cologne, Federal Republic of Germany, on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 10 a.m.
(local time), to consider proposals to re-elect Prof. Dr. Werner Mellis and
Jeremy John Hamer to the supervisory board and to amend the Company's articles
of association.
Under German Law SQS must have one representative of the employees and two
representatives of the shareholders on the supervisory board as it now employs
more than 500 people in its German legal entity. The term of office of the
current supervisory board members is due to expire on completion of the EGM and
therefore it is necessary for the two shareholder representatives to be formally
re-elected. The process also requires an amendment to the Company's articles of
association.
