William Sinclair Holdings PLC have appointed Bernard Burns as Chief Executive
with effect from 1 February 2005. This follows a Board review which identified
the structure and skills required to deal with the challenges of growing the
business.

Bernard, aged 48, who previously worked for Poole Pottery, Silentnight Holdings,
Churchill Tableware and Coates Viyella, has considerable experience in the
manufacturing, selling and distribution of branded goods to the consumer retail
market.
