                       MINERVA WINS TALLEST OFFICE TOWER

Minerva plc has been given the go ahead today by The Corporation of London for
the City's tallest and largest office tower, The Minerva Building, which will be
217m (712ft) and 50 floors high. It will also be the first single building in
the City to provide 1 million sq ft of high quality and flexible office space,
accommodating up to 10,000 people.

Andrew Rosenfeld, chief executive of Minerva, said:

"This is a major achievement not only for Minerva but also for the City of
London. We have been given the green light to deliver the first one million
square foot office tower which will sit in the heart of the world's most
important financial centre.

"It is fitting that this magnificent tower, which will redefine the City's
skyline, has been created by a British developer working with a leading British
architect. Within the context of a strengthening global economy we are confident
that this development will provide investors with a unique opportunity to
participate in significant additional shareholder value."

The Minerva Building is designed by leading British architects Grimshaw.
