Issue of new shares

16 December 2010: MDY Healthcare plc ("MDY Healthcare" or the "Company") the strategic investor in healthcare companies, today announces that it has raised GBP150,000 through a subscription of new ordinary shares by Bronsstadet AB ("Bronsstadet"), a company wholly owned by Mr Peter Gyllenhammar and one of MDY Healthcare's existing major shareholders.

At a board meeting on 15 December 2010, a total of 810,810 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each (the "Subscription Shares"), representing 4.75% of the Company's enlarged issued ordinary share capital, were allotted to Bronsstadet for cash, subject to Admission, at a price of 18.5 pence per share, being the mid price of an ordinary share of the Company at the close of business on 14 December 2010. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission of the Subscription Shares to trading on AIM with admission expected to occur on 21 December 2010. Following Admission, Peter Gyllenhammar will be interested in a total of 4,846,933 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 28.37% of the Company's issued ordinary shares and the Company's issued ordinary share capital will comprise a total of 17,082,486 ordinary shares.
