Leyshon Resources Limited ("Leyshon" or the "Company") 
 
 
Transaction in Own Shares 
 
 
Leyshon announces that pursuant to the announcement by the Company on 5 January 
2010 of the commencement of a share buy-back programme, on 21 January 2010 it 
purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 9.65 
pence and a further 500,000 Ordinary Shares at 17.5 Australian cents on the 
Australian Stock Exchange. These Ordinary Shares will be cancelled by the 
Company. 
 
 
As a result of the above purchase of Ordinary Shares and following their 
cancellation by the Company, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue will 
be 216,755,692 each carrying one vote. This is the number of shares which may be 
used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will 
determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their 
interest in, the share capital of the Company under the United Kingdom Financial 
Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
