Finsbury Alternative Investment Strategies Limited

At the Annual General Meeting of Finsbury Alternative Investment Strategies
Limited ("the Company") held at 10:30 a.m. today, it was resolved that the
Company should continue as a closed ended investment company for a further two
year period and to change the name of the Company to Alternative Investment
Strategies Limited.

The change of name will become effective when approved by the Royal Court in
Guernsey, which is expected to be on the 10th March 2000.
