                          COMINO PLC: CONTRACT AWARDS
                 ISE Subsidiary announces new local government
                       orders in excess of #1.1 million

ISE,  the workflow software specialist and part of the AIM-quoted Comino  plc,
announces new orders from local authorities valued at more than #1.1  million.
This  includes  a  #300,000 development of the London  Borough  of  Haringey's
existing  ISE  workflow  system  and orders valued  at  almost  #340,000  from
Sunderland Metropolitan Borough.

Haringey  is  expanding  its existing ISE solution  into  Revenues  to  manage
council tax and business rates, bringing the number of users to more than 250.
Sunderland is to deploy systems to automate Revenues, Benefits and Environment
operations. In addition, new Revenues and Benefits workflow systems are to  be
installed  at  Great  Yarmouth Borough, the East Riding of Yorkshire  Council,
Waverley Borough and South Tyneside Metropolitan Borough, an existing user  of
ISE's Pensions workflow and document management.

ISE's Sales & Marketing Director, Denise Harrison, commented: "In the last  18
months,  ISE  has  become  the first choice for local authorities  looking  to
implement  advanced  technologies such as workflow  and  document  management.
There are increasing opportunities for ISE solutions ranging from workflow  to
customer  service  call centres in local government, and we  expect  continued
success in coming months."

Workflow  technology  is  employed  to  automate  an  organisation's  business
processes, bringing improved efficiency and productivity. Electronic  document
management (EDM) systems are used to integrate disparate information resources
including  paper  documents and electronic information. ISE's  1997  and  1998
Local  Government  IT surveys identified workflow and EDM  as  leading  growth
technologies  in  local government, with systems increasingly  being  deployed
outside the core service areas of Revenues and Benefits.

sector.  Customers  include 1 in 4 of the Times Top  100  including  household
names  such as AA, Daily Mail and SmithKline Beecham plus more than 25  public
sector  customers.  Comino plc last week announced increased  pre-tax  profits
from #870,000 to #1.27 million in the six months to 30 September.
