                  CROMA WINS TWO MAJOR NEW BUSINESS CONTRACTS

The Board of Croma, the specialists in the design, development and production of
overt and covert surveillance, security and defence related products, today
announces two further major contract wins from its R & D Design Services Ltd 
subsidiary, based in Margate, England, to the value of #550,000.

Due to the confidentiality of today's contract wins, the two clients cannot be
named. The Board highlights however that both clients operate within the defence
sector, and products will be delivered during the current financial year.

R & D Design Services Ltd ("R & D"), founded in 1991 and based in the UK, has
built a leading reputation within the Avionics and Defence Industries for
providing proven airborne, maritime and ground-based surveillance solutions to
many police, search & rescue, military and government organisations at home and
abroad. A full range of surveillance monitors utilising the proprietary video
image enhancement technology pioneered by R & D has won the confidence of
leading helicopter and fixed wing manufacturers worldwide making R & D's
surveillance monitors the first choice as original equipment fitted for their
demanding end-customers.
