SUCCESSFUL LETTING OF HEADQUARTERS OFFICE BUILDING IN THE THAMES VALLEY

The Cardiff Property Plc announces that its associate company, Campmoss
Property Company Limited, in which Cardiff holds a 47.62% stake, has completed
the letting of its office headquarters building known as 'The Priory', Burnham,
located close to Junction 7 of the M4 motorway between Slough and Maidenhead.

Campmoss, acquired the property in March 1996 and, following a successful
planning application, refurbished, rebuilt and extended the existing building.
The property stands in a landscaped area of 3.2 acres and totals 26,000 sq.ft.
net of high grade office space with over one hundred car parking spaces.  As
announced in the recent interim statement, the new part of the building,
comprising approximately 17,000 sq. ft. net, has been let to Industri-Matematik
Limited for a minimum term of 15 years at an annual rental of #401,500,
equivalent to 24.00 per sq.ft.

The refurbished part of the building, comprising approximately 9,000 sq.ft. net,
has been let on a similar long term institutional lease to i2 Technologies
Limited, at an annual rental of #198,500, equivalent to #22.00 per sq.ft.

Industri-Matematik and i2 Technologies are quoted on the NASDAQ Large Cap Stock
Market and are involved in the fast growing IT services sector.

Annual rental for the building will total #600,000 and is payable after a short
rent free period.
