                           Transaction in own shares



Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that it has
purchased 22,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 4 October 2007 at a price of
Euro7.15 per share for a total consideration of Euro157,300. All of the purchased
shares are being held in treasury to satisfy awards to executive directors and
certain employees of the Company under the BDH Free Shares Plan.  The total
number of Ordinary Shares over which awards have been granted under the BDH Free
Shares Plan is 372,155.

As a result of these purchases, the Company currently holds 255,887 ordinary
shares in treasury. The Company has ordinary shares outstanding of 75,347,929.
