Avingtrans plc (the "Company" or "Avingtrans")

On 13 September 2006, the Board of Avingtrans, in accordance with the Company's
EMI share scheme, granted options over ordinary shares of 5p in the Company
("Ordinary Shares") to the following Directors, at an option price of 137.25
pence:
