Standard & Poor's Initiates Factual Stock Report Coverage on United American Petroleum Corp.

Standard & Poor’s announced today that it has commenced
Factual Stock Report coverage on United American Petroleum
Corp.
United American Petroleum Corp. (OTCBB:UAPC), in the exploration
stage as of December 31, 2010, engages in the acquisition,
exploration, development and production of oil and gas properties.
Its principal business is the acquisition of leasehold interests in
petroleum and natural gas rights, either directly or indirectly,
and the exploitation and development of properties subject to these
leases. As a result of acquisitions completed in December 2010 and
January 2011, the company owns various oil and gas interests in
Texas.
United owns a 100% working interest in the Marcee 1 Tract, which
is located on approximately 112 acres of land in Gonzalez County,
Texas. The Marcee lease contains one well. United also owns a 25%
working interest in the Hector Lozano Tract, which is located on
approximately 110 acres in Frio County, Texas. The Hector Lozano
Tract is a producing asset with three wells.
On January 28, 2011, the company acquired certain oil and gas
interests from Patriot Minerals, LLC. The Patriot interests
acquired by United consist of certain undivided working interests
in various leases in Texas including, but not limited to, the
Welder lease in Duval County; the Bailey Rogers and Fohn leases in
Medina County; the Walker Smith lease in Wilbarger County; the
Merrick Davis lease in Shackelford County; and the Crouch, Heady
and Lane leases in Erath County (''the Patriot Interests''). At the
time of the company's acquisition of the Patriot interests, all
wells were shut in due to various factors. As of mid-April 2011,
United was in the process of developing plans with the working
interest partners for each of the leases.
