McKenzie has been named as the Company's Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer effective today. Additionally, Bill Graham, who was appointed Chief Executive Officer for an interim period in July, will remain in his role on a permanent basis. Prior to rejoining SiriCOMM, Mr. McKenzie was the Director of Financial Services for The Empire District Electric Company (NYSE:EDE) where he was instrumental in completing several debt and equity transactions as well as the acquisition of a natural gas distribution operation. From 2001 until 2005, Mr. McKenzie was with Fast Freedom, Inc., a subsidiary of The Empire District Electric Company, serving as President and Chief Financial Officer beginning in 2002. During his tenure at Fast Freedom, Mr. McKenzie oversaw all operations and successfully completed an acquisition, building Fast Freedom from a start-up company into the largest Internet Service Provider in the Joplin area.
