LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (PINK SHEETS: CNHC) is pleased to announce
that its Richland International Hospital (RIH) has been appointed
as the Medical Provider by the Australian Consulate General of
Guangzhou, China for a soccer match between China and Australia's
national soccer team which is being held in Kunming City, China on
March 26, 2008.
On February 20, 2008, Officers from the Australian
Consulate-General of Guangzhou, China visited RIH to determine
whether the facilities at the hospital were qualified to serve as
the medical provider for the soccer game. RIH is responsible for
the care of Australia's National Soccer Team and the many fans that
are expected to arrive from Australia to Kunming City, China for
the match.
Officers from the Australian Consulate met with the medical
staff at RIH and reviewed medical equipment and the hospital
procedures which follow the standards of the Joint Commission
International (JCI). Officers from the Australian Consulate left
the facility fully confident in RIH and its ability to provide
medical treatment to its soccer players and fans. Officers also
commented that Richland International Hospital is one the best
private hospital facilities in China.
The Australian Consulate General therefore has appointed the
Richland International Hospital as the medical provider for the
soccer match. Furthermore, the Australian Consulate General will
officially make an announcement recommending to all Australians who
are presently working or traveling in the Yunnan Province of China
to seek medical services at Richland International Hospital.
Kunming's Tuodong Stadium has been selected as the site of the
March 26, 2008 World Cup qualifying match between China and
Australia's national soccer teams as they fight to advance through
what has been dubbed the "group of death" - a qualifying group that
also includes powerhouses Iraq and Qatar. Only the group winner and
runner-up will advance to the World Cup. China's pressure to
qualify for the World Cup is immense as it has only managed to
qualify for the global soccer tournament once in 2002 by beating
Oman in the freezing wintery weather of Shenyang, China.
