If he's been issued over 2 billion shares and not sold he's required by law to be listed as a 5% shareholder. Since he's not listed as a 5% shareholder he sold. Not sure why you can't figure that out.

He doesn't hold 5% so he sold, or gave them away for free. Either way the converted shares were sold and bought up by investors who are now upside down on their investment.

The proof is in the financials for one. Clive isn't listed as a 5% owner. Unless you're saying they lied on the financials? Great possibility of that. It's also illegal to keep shares under separate holdings to stay below 5%. IR has also confirmed that Clive sells his shares as he gets them. Are you also saying that IR is lying? There is absolutely no legal way to do it without it being disclosed.
