We last checked
on Puration Inc (OTCMKTS:PURA) just
a week ago, noting that it was showing some strong momentum signals
under the surface of the tape. That turns out to have been a
prescient bit of analysis, as the stock has continued to push
higher, with increasing attention beginning to focus on its new
product direction in the THC infused beverage space as well as some
hints toward a play on the recreational legalization move nearing
in Canada.
To prime a buzz in the
marketplace, the company just released an image of the packaging
design for THCSavor. According to the release, “the company has
planned for production in Canada in conjunction with a previously
announced pending acquisition intended to establish a cannabis
cultivation operation for the recreational marijuana market
expected to be legalized nationwide in Canada this
summer.”
Puration Inc (OTCMKTS:PURA)
bills itself as a company that has been a water purification
company. PURA is involved in the design, development, engineering,
production, marketing, and distribution of personal and group
systems that filter, purify, clean, extract or otherwise improve
the quality of water on a cost effective, affordable basis, with a
minimum of environmental impact.
PURA operates a U.S.
Patented Cannabis Extraction process and sells its extracts for
infusion into a variety of consumer products to include beverages,
foods, nutritional supplements and cosmetics.
Resulting from their own
design and engineering, the company’s water purification systems
include personal water filter bottles, collapsible water pouches,
replacement filters, and travel filters.
Puration introduced its EVERx
CBD Infused Sports Water at Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Annual Arnold
Sports Festival last year and is returning to the Arnold this year
on March 1st to introduce its first two flavored waters: EVERx CBD
Infused Kiwi-Strawberry Sports Water and EVERx CBD Infused
Lemon-Lime Sports Water. EVERx Sports Water is built on two patents
that together deliver a combination of characteristics that are
unprecedented in the beverage industry. In addition to the benefits
of its CBD infusions, EVERx Sports Water has an optimal alkaline pH
level formulated with antioxidants and electrolytes to deliver the
most effective hydration available in the alkaline water
market.
With upward momentum established on the chart, and the company
pushing towards numerous potentially interesting developments, it
may pay to keep this ticker on the radar.
“This packaging is a work
in progress,” Said Brian Shibley, CEO of Puration. “Feel free to
email us and tell us what you think. I’m enthusiastic about our new
partners in Canada and look forward to sharing more details with
you after we close the Canadian acquisition.”
Just in time, Puration has
scheduled a shareholder presentation for May 10 that it notes is
meant “to provide overall details on the Canadian business
acquisition expected to be closed as early as the end of this week.
Highlights of the THCSavor go-to-market plan are to be included in
the upcoming shareholder presentation.”
The chart shows better
than 120% added to share values of the name over the past month of
action. Furthermore, the company has witnessed a pop in interest,
as transaction volume levels have recently pushed just shy of 180%
above the average volume levels in play in this stock over the
longer term.
At this time,
carrying a capital value in the market of $18.6M,
PURA has a chunk ($184K) of cash on the books, which
compares with virtually no total current liabilities. PURA is
pulling in trailing 12-month revenues of $269K. In addition, the
