Allianz Extends CFO Board Mandate

Allianz SE said Friday that it has extended the board mandate of
Chief Financial Officer Giulio Terzariol until the end of 2025 and
that it has made some changes to the management board.
Mr. Terzariol's mandate has been extended for five years, as has
the mandate of board member Ivan de la Sota. Board member Sergio
Balbinot's mandate has been extended by two years until the end of
2022.
The German insurance giant also said there will be some changes
to its management. Barbara Karuth-Zelle, currently chief executive
of Allianz Technology SE, will replace Christof Mascher from next
year. Ms. Karuth-Zelle will be responsible for operations and IT.
Christopher Townsend will succeed Niran Peiris at the same time and
will be in charge of Global Insurance Lines.
Both Mr. Mascher and Mr. Peiris are retiring at the end of the
year.
