VMS Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:VMS) ("VMS") is pleased to announce
upcoming exploration programs for its three Sudbury projects Golden
Pine, Terra Incognita and Black Creek, located approximately 37
kilometers north of Sudbury, Ontario.

VMS Ventures COO Neil Richardson states: "We have now started
our initial $250,000 exploration program on our Sudbury projects.
We like the fact that these projects have seen limited and spotty
exploration activity over the last twenty years, or so. We have
optioned a sizable, prospective land package and all historical
data has now been synthesized into one database. This work has
resulted in several multi-element targets being outlined.
Exploration programs will begin immediately and will continue till
year-end."
Golden Pine
The Golden Pine project is located in Parkin Township and has
seen historical drilling and a small bulk tonnage test pit for gold
mineralization. Results indicate the presence of, at least, four
mineralized zones with values as high as 42 g/t gold and 122 g/t
silver in grab samples. The 530 tonne A-zone bulk sample averaged
0.68 g/t gold, which is significantly lower than the historical
drilling and surface sample assays. This project is the most
advanced of our projects having been previous drilled, bulk
sampled, stripping and channel samples. All historical data was
compiled into one format with targets generated for follow-up in
2011 by power stripping, geological mapping and channel sampling. A
3D-model of the mineralized zones and new geological information
will be completed in early 2012 using Gemcom® software.
Terra Incognita
The Terra Incognita project is also located in Parkin Township
and is contiguous to the Golden Pine and Black Creek properties. It
is relatively underexplored due to extensive overburden cover in
the area. This project has potential for volcanic hosted base metal
massive sulphide type mineralization and gold hosted in granitic
intrusions or favourable geological structures. Historical work
outlined a magnetic high associated with very low frequency (VLF)
geophysical anomalies and base metal Mobile Metal Ion ("MMI") soil
geochemical anomalies. A time-domain electromagnetic survey is
planned over this favourable area with follow-up diamond drilling,
if warranted.
Black Creek
The Black Creek project is located in Parkin and Hutton
Townships and is a gold/base metal prospect with anomalous gold
reported in black sands of the Vermilion River. Six Geotech
Versatile Time-domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) targets have been
compiled from an historical airborne electromagnetic survey on the
property. Follow-up work will consist of diamond drilling and
mechanical excavator power stripping and washing of outcrop in
areas of exploration interest.
