Tarsis Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:TCC) ("Tarsis" and "the Company") is pleased
to announce that it has acquired a 100% interest in 503 claims (approx. 10,500
hectares) by staking, located in the Rogue District, Yukon. The claims are
located 170 kilometers east of Mayo, Yukon and are accessible by helicopter. An
airstrip is located at Silver Predator's nearby Plata property.


The claims are situated within the Selwyn Basin and are underlain by Hyland
Group, Road River and Earn Group sediments. This particular succession of rocks
covers a large area of Selwyn Basin and has largely been the focus of SEDEX
style lead-zinc exploration modeled after Howards Pass. Structurally-hosted
silver mineralization also occurs within this succession of rocks at the nearby
Plata property. 


Staking was carried out to cover anomalous gold response (values range from 1 to
27 ppb) from the regional government stream sediment geochemical database. While
much of the historical exploration in the vicinity of the new claims was focused
toward SEDEX style lead-zinc mineralization, much of this work identified
abundant anomalous silver values ranging from 0.1 g/t to 23.9 g/t from soils and
0.4 g/t to 8.6 g/t silver from stream sediments. None of the anomalies were
reportedly followed up and explained. 


In addition to the anomalous historical silver values, elevated pathfinder
geochemistry is reported in both the government data and the prior operator's
work, particularly for arsenic, antimony and molybdenum.


Tarsis intends to carry out early stage exploration, including prospecting,
stream, rock and soil sampling, and mapping during 2011.


Options Grant

The Company has granted 450,000 incentive stock options to consultants,
exerciseable at $0.61 for five years.
