KELOWNA, BC, Nov. 9, 2011 /CNW/ - Cantex Mine Development Corp. ("Cantex" or the "Company") is pleased to announce drilling results from its Al Hariqah gold project. The Company is also pleased to report that drilling continues after a break for the Ramadan holiday at both the Suwar nickel-copper-cobalt and Al Hariqah gold deposits under the direction of Canadian geologist Graham Janson. Drilling results have recently been received from seven holes at the Al Hariqah gold project.  Upper portions of the holes are typically drilled using percussion techniques and the holes are then extended with core drilling.  Sample results are pending from a further 14 holes. The following table presents significant results that have just been received along with any results previously reported from the same holes: HOLE Drilling Results Length From To Gold Grade Technique (m) (m) (m) (g/t) RDH-A Percussion Previously released 1.50 9.00 10.50 2.11 Core New 35.52 90.18 125.70 5.02 Core Including 3.70 106.38 110.08 33.42 Core New 3.83 138.10 141.93 0.57 RDH-B Percussion Previously released 10.50 10.50 21.00 1.29 Percussion Previously released 3.00 30.00 33.00 1.57 Percussion Previously released 4.50 36.00 40.50 0.34 Percussion Previously released 9.00 49.50 58.50 0.43 Percussion Previously released 13.50 66.00 79.50 0.43 Core New 13.03 99.20 112.23 1.17 RDH-C Percussion Previously released 78.00 0.0 78.0 3.08 Percussion Including 7.50 25.5 33.0 18.35 Core New 2.16 126.4 128.6 2.00 RDH-D Percussion Previously released 1.5 84 85.5 1.07 Core New 18.2 117.8 136 0.74 Core New 5.91 145.68 151.59 1.31 RDH-E Percussion New 13.50 0.00 13.50 0.63 Percussion New 1.50 76.50 78.00 0.32 RDH-F Core New 6.30 102.30 108.60 1.24 Drilling at the Al Hariqah project continues to intersect gold mineralization over significant lengths.  Hole RDH-A intersected 35.52 meters of 5.02 g/t gold from 90.18 meters depth.  Within this intersection was a 3.70 meter section which contains 33.42 g/t gold. Drilling of the upper portion of RDH-C intersected 78 meters of 3.08 g/t gold from surface.  Extending this hole by core drilling intersected 2 meters of 2.00 g/t gold from 126.4 meters depth. Similarly extending the RDH-B percussion hole with core drilling techniques expanded the mineralization by intersecting 13.03 meters of 1.17 g/t gold. Cantex is pleased with the continued intersection of anomalous gold mineralization at Al Hariqah.  Once 28 holes are extended and the analysis is done, the Company will be in the position to complete a prefeasibility study on the Al Hariqah project. Suwar At the Suwar nickel-copper-cobalt project, drilling is targeting a high chargeability induced polarization geophysical anomaly. Company President Chad Ulansky has been in Yemen working with the government to extend the deadline for which a prefeasibility study is to be completed on the Suwar project.
