Stella-Jones Inc. (TSX:SJ) has announced its director election results following its annual and special meeting of shareholders, held today.

All of the nominees proposed as directors in the Company’s Management Information Circular dated March 14, 2018, were elected on a vote by show of hands. In total 55,982,010 shares were represented in person or by proxy at the meeting, representing approximately 80.73% of the outstanding shares as of the record date of March 14, 2018.

The proxies received by management for the election of directors were as follows: 45,808,798 proxy votes were cast for the election of Tom A. Bruce Jones, representing 82.19% of the proxy votes cast; 53,772,172 proxy votes were cast for the election of George J. Bunze, representing 96.48% of the proxy votes cast; 45,347,503 proxy votes were cast for the election of Gianni Chiarva, representing 81.36% of the proxy votes cast; 54,788,284 proxy votes were cast for the election of Katherine A. Lehman, representing 98.30% of the proxy votes cast; 46,729,310 proxy votes were cast for the election of James A. Manzi, Jr. representing 83.84% of the proxy votes cast; 48,463,157 proxy votes were cast for the election of Brian McManus, representing 86.95% of the proxy votes cast; 53,062,382 proxy votes were cast for the election of Nycol Pageau-Goyette, representing 95.20% of the proxy votes cast; 55,146,207 proxy votes were cast for the election of Simon Pelletier, representing 98.94% of the proxy votes cast; 39,996,834 proxy votes were cast for the election of Daniel Picotte, representing 71.76% of the proxy votes cast; and 55,197,832 proxy votes were cast for the election of Mary L. Webster, representing 99.04% of the proxy votes cast.
