Resignation from the Boards of Directors: Pierre Karl Peladeau No Longer Involved in the Corporation's Management

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Mar 9, 2014) - Quebecor announces that, following his decision to enter politics, Pierre Karl Péladeau resigned this morning as Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of Quebecor and Chairman and member of the Boards of Directors of Quebecor Media and TVA Group. Quebecor also confirms that Mr. Péladeau has promised to place his financial interests in the Corporation in a blind trust or under a blind management agreement if he is elected to Québec's National Assembly on April 7. As of today, Mr. Péladeau will no longer take part in any decisions respecting the Corporation's daily or strategic management.
