NextGen Aircraft
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Mar 27, 2014) - FIDAE 2014 -
Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Adria Airways of
Ljubljana, Slovenia has signed a firm purchase agreement for two
CRJ900 NextGen regional jets. A Star Alliance member with
over fifty years of experience in scheduled and charter services,
Adria Airways has been a Bombardier customer since March 1997. It

Based on the list price for the CRJ900 NextGen

demonstrated reliability and low fuel consumption, the CRJ900
NextGen regional jet offers an unmatched mix of cost
efficiency, network flexibility and passenger appeal."

benefitting from the proven performance of the CRJ900
NextGen regional jet. This is a testimony to our ongoing
commitment to the technological updates of our product offerings to
ensure their competitiveness," said Ray Jones, Senior Vice
President, Sales, Marketing and Asset Management, Bombardier
Commercial Aircraft. "Adria Airways has been a long-time Bombardier
Commercial Aircraft customer and also maintained more than 700
CRJ aircraft as our first Recognized Service Facility in
Europe. We're thrilled that the airline is once again looking to us
for its fleet solution."
Including Adria Airways' order, Bombardier has recorded firm
orders for 1,814 CRJ Series aircraft, including 341
CRJ900 and CRJ900 NextGen aircraft. Worldwide,
CRJ Series aircraft are in service with more than 60

the aircraft. The aircraft are operating in over 50 countries on
six continents, and on average, a CRJ aircraft takes off
