Because (1) that’s a lot of people kicked out of a lot houses and (2) everyone loves a good nickname, Mnuchin has earned the moniker, in some circles, “Foreclosure King,” or ”Foreclosure King of California,” if you’re not one for brevity....."

While attending Yale, he lived for a time with two roommates. One of them went on to make some pretty good money himself in the entertainment business—as a producer of a whole host of films, from Wonder Woman to The Lego Movie—before he moved on and took a job with the federal government.
That roommate was Steve Mnuchin, who is now the United States secretary of the Treasury and, in addition to all his other duties, is one of three directors on the board of a government agency called the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., which takes over funding and administering workers’ pensions when their former employers go out of business and/or file for bankruptcy...."
