PlusFeed Select is designed specifically for organizations that may have limited real-time data requirements but still need to draw from a variety of market sources and asset classes including equities, foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities and derivatives to obtain this data. Interactive Data believes this new service can benefit a variety of institutions including hedge funds, order management systems, portfolio managers, third party application providers, web sites, and firms that require only subset of data from a single exchange with a mix of active and inactive instruments. PlusFeed Select is an extension of PlusFeedSM, Interactive Data�s consolidated high-quality, low latency digital datafeed that powers algorithmic and electronic trading applications. With PlusFeed Select, clients can leverage the real-time multi-asset class data capabilities of PlusFeed to extract a subset of data from more than 450 sources and exchanges worldwide, covering in excess of 5 million financial instruments. Users of PlusFeed Select can benefit from significantly lower communications costs compared to a deployed solution at a client site through Interactive Data�s hosted environment for delivery of datafeeds.
