Upcoming ISG Provider Lens™ report will
evaluate service providers’ capabilities to transform HR and its
business impact through outsourcing
Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global
technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research
study examining HR outsourcing (HRO) services that help
organizations deliver enhanced value from the human resources
function.
The study results will be published in a comprehensive ISG
Provider Lens™ report, titled Transformational HR Outsourcing
Services, scheduled to be released in April 2024. The report will
cover providers offering multi-process HRO (MPHRO) and health and
welfare (H&W) benefits administration services.
Enterprise buyers will be able to use information from the
reports to evaluate their current vendor relationships, potential
new engagements and available offerings, while ISG advisors use the
information to recommend providers to the firm’s buy-side
clients.
HRO services go beyond HR process standardization, efficiency
and cost reduction to deliver enhanced value from HR to the wider
organization and employees. HRO can accelerate the adoption of
digital technologies, expand service offerings, enhance access to
HR thought leadership, deliver actionable data-driven insights and
increase employee engagement.
“HRO services help organizations navigate rapidly changing
workforce dynamics and technological advancements,” said Jan Erik
Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. "In
today’s rapidly changing business environment, the focus must be on
embracing transformative HRO to meet evolving workforce needs and
leverage digital innovation.”
ISG has distributed surveys to more than 30 transformational HRO
service providers. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global
advisors, the research team will produce two quadrants representing
the HRO services the typical enterprise is buying, based on ISG’s
experience working with its clients. The two quadrants are:
- Multi-process HRO (MPHRO) Services, evaluating providers
of integrated services generally including core workforce data
administration, HR contact center, payroll, compensation,
recruitment and onboarding. Delivered value includes cost
reduction, service quality improvement and organizational agility,
flexibility and resilience.
- Health and Welfare (H&W) Benefits Administration
Services, assessing providers managing benefits for employees
and other eligible dependents, using leading methods, tools,
delivery approaches and technologies to improve, streamline and add
value to HR/benefits and the overall organization and
workforce.
One geographically focused report from the study will cover the
transformational HR outsourcing services market and examine
services available in the U.S. ISG analyst Colin Whalen will serve
as author of the report.
A list of identified providers and vendors and further details
on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not
listed as digital engineering services providers can contact ISG
and ask to be included in the study.
All 2024 ISG Provider Lens™ evaluations feature expanded
customer experience (CX) data that measures actual enterprise
experience with specific provider services and solutions, based on
ISG’s continuous CX research. Enterprise customers wishing to share
their experience about a specific provider or vendor are encouraged
to register here to receive a personalized survey URL. Participants
will receive a copy of this report in return for their
