Decoma Honored as a General Motors 2003 Supplier of the Year
CONCORD, Ontario, April 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Decoma
International Inc. has been honored with a General Motors Supplier
of the Year award for superior performance in delivering vehicle
exteriors. The award, which considers quality, service, technology
and price, was presented during ceremonies held on Saturday, April
3, in Prague. "Decoma is representative of the type of company we
want to grow with as we drive to be the best worldwide," said Bo
Andersson, vice president, GM Worldwide Purchasing Production
Control & Logistics. "Decoma has a balanced focus on
performance and behavior that supports GM's priorities. They are a

components and systems on several General Motors vehicles,
including the Chevrolet Impala and Monte Carlo, the Cadillac
Escalade and CTS, and the Pontiac Grand Prix. The GM Supplier of
the Year award began as a global program in 1992. Award-winners are
selected by a global team of executives from purchasing,
engineering, manufacturing and logistics who base their decisions
on supplier performance in quality, service, technology and price.
This year, General Motors honored 77 suppliers for their excellence
throughout 2003. This is the eighth time Decoma has been recognized
as a GM Supplier of the Year. Decoma designs, engineers and
manufactures automotive exterior components and systems which
include fascias (bumpers), front and rear end modules, plastic body
panels, roof modules, exterior trim components, sealing and
greenhouse systems and lighting components for cars and light
trucks (including sport utility vehicles and mini-vans). Decoma has
approximately 15,000 employees in 49 manufacturing, engineering and
product development facilities in Canada, the United States,
Mexico, Germany, Belgium, England, France, Austria, Poland, the
