Appian Announces Proposed Public Offering of Class A Common Stock

Appian Corporation (Nasdaq: APPN) today announced the launch of a
proposed underwritten public offering of 2,329,000 shares of its
Class A common stock, of which 1,825,000 shares of Class A common
stock are being offered by Appian and 504,000 shares of Class A
common stock are being offered by existing stockholders of Appian.
Appian will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of shares
of Class A common stock by the selling stockholders. Appian intends
to use the net proceeds from this offering for working capital and
other general corporate purposes.
Barclays is acting as sole underwriter in the offering. The
offering is being made pursuant to a shelf registration statement,
including a base prospectus, filed by Appian with the Securities
and Exchange Commission (SEC), which was effective upon filing. The
offering may be made only by means of a written prospectus and
prospectus supplement that form a part of the registration
statement. A preliminary prospectus supplement and accompanying
prospectus relating to the offering will be filed with the SEC and
