Altiris(R) SecurityExpressions(TM) Optimizes Continued Compliance With FISMA, E-Government and Custom DOJ IT Security Policies SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Altiris, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATRS), a pioneer of IT lifecycle management solutions that reduce the total cost of owning IT resources, today announced the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) has increased its number of licenses for Altiris(R) SecurityExpressions(TM) to include more than 140,000 heterogeneous workstations and servers. SecurityExpressions will help the DOJ and its components optimize existing compliance efforts for Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), the E-Government Act of 2002 and custom DOJ IT security policies. The DOJ selected SecurityExpressions to help ensure the continued confidentiality, integrity and availability of its data and information systems. SecurityExpressions will help DOJ IT security and operations personnel audit, track, manage, prioritize and remediate computing systems based on custom security policies as well as provide comprehensive FISMA and E-Government Act summary reports for the DOJ OCIO and ITSS.
