Enel SpA said Wednesday that its energy-services business line Enel X has signed a strategic agreement with WM Motor Technology Co.'s brand Weltmeister to boost the export of electric vehicles.

The two companies will cooperate in the fields of smart electric car export and after-sales service as well as charging infrastructure experience improvement, according to the Rome-based company. The first project is set to be launched in China in the first quarter of 2021.

WM Motor Technology is a Shanghai-based auto company specialized in battery electric vehicles.
