(NYSE:CBB) has selected Motorola's gigabit passive optical network (GPON), edge modulation, encryptor and encoding solutions for deployment in its fiber network. Cincinnati Bell's fiber network will enable the delivery of rich personalized media experiences and support multiple high-speed broadband service tiers and advanced video services including the highest quality high-definition TV (HDTV), video-on-demand (VOD) and standard definition television programming available to consumers today.
