CAI Cairo Communication SPA

Four groups are still racing for the assets of Telecom Italia Media (TME.MI) that are up for sale, La Repubblica reports Sunday on its website.

Cairo Communications SpA (CAI.MI), 3 Italia, owned by China's Hutchison Whampoa (HUWHY, 0013.HK), Germany's RTL (RTL.BT) of the Bertelsmann Group and the U.S.'s Discovery Channel (DISCA) will submit non-binding bids before Monday's deadline.

The offers will be then examined by the board of TI Media's parent company Telecom Italia (TIA, TIT.MI) on Sept. 27.
