WARSAW, Poland, April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - CGI Group Inc.
(TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB), one of the major providers of information
technology and business process services, today announced a 3-year
agreement with Telekomunikacja Polska Group (TP Group),
Poland's leading
telecommunications provider, for application support and services.
CGI frameworks will be deployed to help TP Group consolidate its
current multi application, multi vendor environment to improve
overall time to market and total cost of ownership.
TP Group is the leading telecom provider in Poland for fixed line and mobile, and is
partly owned by the France Telecom group.
CGI will provide application maintenance and development, on a
number of technology platforms. Services will be delivered via
CGI's Warsaw Development Center with additional support teams
located at TP Group sites throughout Poland.
