BA Boeing Co

Boeing Co. (BA) is considering a bid for Mercury Systems Inc. (MRCY), Reuters reported Thursday, citing two people familiar with the matter.

Mercury provides systems, software and services for commercial, defense and intelligence markets.

According to the Reuters report, private equity firms have made preliminary offers for Mercury.
