Comverse, Inc. (Nasdaq:CNSI), a global leader in telecom business enablement, today announced that Neil Montefiore, recently retired CEO of StarHub Ltd., has been appointed to the company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Montefiore brings to Comverse more than 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and the Asian telecommunications market, with extensive leadership, operations, financial and strategy experience through his service as Chief Executive Officer and director of a significant number of telecommunication service providers.

Neil Montefiore has over 35 years of leadership experience in the telecom industry. He served as CEO and director of StarHub Ltd. from 2010 until his retirement in 2013. From 1996 to 2009, he served as CEO of MobileOne Ltd., where he also served as a director from 2002 to 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Montefiore served in various executive roles at Hongkong Telecom CSL Ltd., Chevalier (Telepoint) Ltd., and the Cable and Wireless Group. He has also served as a director of M1 Shop Pte Limited, M1 Capital Limited, Wireless Intellect Labs Limited, and NetPlay TV plc. He holds a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Portsmouth.
